Diaspora dinner in London, Ontario

At the invitation of the Federation of Liberian Associations in Canada (FLAC), Dr Augustine Konneh, Senior Advisor to the President of Liberia, joined Liberians at a dinner in London, Ontario, as part of his visit to the Office.

The Chairman of the FLAC Board, Mr Prince Wright, welcomed guests and introduced board members present. Hon. Jallahqueena Hawa Konneh made remarks and introduced the guest of honour. Liberians attended from Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Toronto and Ottawa.

Dr Konneh conveyed greetings from President Boakai and said the Government was guided by the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development. He spoke about unity among Liberians, national reconciliation, and the Government’s intention to strengthen accountability and institutional frameworks.

The evening closed with discussion, questions and networking.
