The Liberia Investment Forum 2024 was held on 19 September 2024 at The International Centre in Toronto, the first forum of its kind held in Canada. It was organised by the National Investment Commission together with the QE24 Group.

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai gave the keynote address, telling delegates that Liberia stood “at the threshold of a new economic era”, and held separate meetings with investors alongside the main programme. The Liberian delegation included Jeff B. Blibo, Chairman of the National Investment Commission; Wilmot Paye, Minister of Mines and Energy; Jerolinmek Matthew Piah, Minister of Information; and Hon. Jallahqueena Hawa Konneh for this Office.

Canadian participants included Arielle Kayabaga, Member of Parliament for London West, and Effie Triantafilopoulos, Member of Provincial Parliament for Oakville North–Burlington, who attended as the Ontario Premier’s representative. Sessions covered agriculture, mining, infrastructure, energy and manufacturing.
